Browse and Darby is delighted to be showing new work by Linda Heathcoat Amory.
Her exhibition will comprise wild landscapes of woods and rivers alongside still life’s and interiors. The paintings illustrate the drama of the natural world, such as a river in full spate and falling trees and, by contrast, the quiet of the studio, with pictures of the plants and flowers which the artist has cultivated herself. Drawing is at the centre of her practice and the exhibition will include both large finished drawings as well as studies for later oil paintings. This varied collection is full of colour and character, and life.
