Jane Simone Busy was a French artist who spent time each year at Charleston and exhibited her still-life paintings with Lefevre Gallery in London. She was the daughter of artist Simon Bussy and his wife Dorothy, who was the elder sister of writer and founding member of the Bloomsbury Group, Lytton Strachey. Her work was included in the show Sixty Years On at The Bloomsbury Workshop, in 1998.

Bussy is best known for her elegant still-lifes of pastel hued flowers and ripe fruit.
